NonoPix ("we", "our", or "the app") is a daily nonogram puzzle game developed by Maxime Begin. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

NonoPix is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require you to create an account with an email address or password. When you use the app, we collect the following:

• Anonymous user identifier — A randomly generated ID created when you first open the app. This is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information.
• Puzzle solve data — Your solve times, error counts, completion status, and difficulty tier for each puzzle you complete.
• App usage analytics — Events such as setting changes (sound, notifications), gameplay actions, and premium purchase events.
• Device metadata — Your device platform (iOS, Android, or Web) and app version number.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Leaderboards — Your solve times are used to rank players on daily and all-time leaderboards. Only your anonymous ID and solve data are shown.
• App improvement — Analytics help us understand how players use the app so we can improve the experience.
• Puzzle delivery — To sync your progress across sessions and deliver daily puzzles.

In-App Purchases

NonoPix offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and by RevenueCat, our payment processing partner. We do not collect or store your payment information directly. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — Cloud database and authentication. Stores your anonymous user ID, puzzle solve data, and analytics events. Data is encrypted in transit and protected by row-level security. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — In-app purchase management and subscription validation. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's cloud infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Database access is restricted using row-level security policies, meaning each user can only access their own data.

Some data is also stored locally on your device (solve history, preferences, and in-progress puzzles) using the app's local storage.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as you use the app. If you would like to request deletion of your data, please contact us at maxime.begin@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

Children's Privacy

NonoPix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through an app update. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
